Hi all,

I am trying to understand how the RBF/facets stack with our Dragondin's Lvl 44 Holy Fire. Which of the following formulas is correct or close?


(Avg Radial Fire Damage) x (Syngeries) x (1 +%FSD)

or

(Avg Radial Fire Damage) x [(Syngeries) + (1 + %FSD)]


An example with numbers:

93.5 Radial Dmg x (100% + 420% + 200%) x (100% + 15%) = 774 damage

93.5 Radial Dmg x (100% + 420% + 200% + 15%) = 687 damage


Or, is it worth it to use a 30 FRW / 3 RBFs instead of Kira's with 1x RBF or COA with 2x RBF, or FF?

3x facet helm is 15% more dmg than FF

Best options :

1) 3x facet magic circ with either 30frw or tele charges

2) FF

3) I don’t see why you wouldn’t use one of the above, but I guess coa 2x facets


If you use option 1)
Then the only way you can further push your pulse dmg is by using an a5 merc with lvl 46 HF, wearing FF.
This fix your own fire res.
He has -55 fire res himself, paired with your lvl 25 conv.
His 3x lvl 46 pulse dmg may not be synergized, but it’s still an extra ~12% dmg added to you own tri-pulse dmg.
And without enigma to reposition you merc, at least this frenzy merc is able to follow you due to his massive frw bonus from frenzy.
Other merc just lag behind when you charge around.

Thanks for the insights Sins. With Merc + 3os RBF, did you find everything is 1 tick? Or some stuff still 2+? I’m on p1-3 for the most part.

I have tiaras as a temp for the @res which I gather you replace with boots/gloves/belt/rings. I still am 1-2 ticks for everything (except fire immunes pre sunder in chaos). I gather FF could improve this enough in the interim.
