iso ww trapsin pvp build

i run chaos + plague, griff, blood gloves (life, stats, CB, ias) bk, rfrost, arach, up'd gores, 2/20

claw bases are +shadow master +mindblast +3ls and +dragonflight +3weaponblock +3ls

skills are max lightning sentry and synergy
max claw mastery
max venom
1 into cloak of shadows

str and dex for gear, rest into vita.


dragon flight + venom is strong vs casters, especially ES. for inv i typically run 6x shadow and 2x trap lifers, but i have a few extra traps in stash to swap to if im playing vs a barb or something. extra bk in cube along with 2x +6venom dual psn facet claws

You can go a lot of ways with this

Heavy ww with highlord 65 fcr

Or whirlwind for mobility and bleed and 102 fcr

In general Spidersin is more favored for high end pvp, lmk which one you prefer and I could write something down

following this as im trying to learn more and build one out in ladder now.. eeventually will splurge on nl gear.

can anyone share the calculator for claw types to calculate ias, ect for what type of claws to use together.

wondering for started claws can i use 2 chaos? or better to use 1 chaos and 1 plague?
i have 2 gts rn with +3 ls +mb + wb

Use this calc for traplaying and wirl ias:
Google «warren ias calc»

Then build ur character in d2planner and see what you feel will work with ur playstyle.
If ur a good pvp’er mobility and flexibility > damage
If ur lower end pvp’er damage/tankyness matters more.

You need to know ur budget, as theese sins can be worth anything from 5k to 1mill++ fg.

Assa is anticaster so even crap geared is well vs caster

Assa is terrible vs melee especialy vs BvC or BvA

You shouldnt never win vs decent Barb

idk man, ive beaten some pretty high level barbs, you just cant go ww for ww against them. but if you are ww in your traps defensively, when they come to stomp you they will eat ww and traps, and claw block sometimes allows you to escape untouched. so they eat venom and traps and you 0dmg run away

rinse and repeat.. you do have to play much more like a pure trapper vs barb but even with gm rules (no self-casted mindblast if you have a shadow out) you can win against almost all barbs, and its a pretty even match against good barbs. with bm (mindblast spam) its even slightly easier. not saying you will go undefeated against barbs but you can 10-2 a barb like turbeau
