Hello guys
I have a frenzy barb for which I don't want to spend a single fg. All items are self found except for the armor that I got for free.

Level 75

Skills
Max frenzy, double hit and now I'm pushing on axe mastery (lvl 19), BO (lvl 11) and taunt (lvl 1).
1 point in find item, stone skin, natural resistance and increased speed

Item
Gimmershred + guardian naga
Arreat
Enigma (the one that I got for free)
War traveler
IK gloves
Trang belt
Raven
Rare ring ll resistance
Crafted amu ll resistance

Merc
Guillaume's
Blackleach blade
Leviathan

I consider my equipment more than decent, but I'm stuck at act1 hell, so I think I'm probably missing something.

What would be your advices? Remember, I'm not shopping items, so it's useless to point out that grief would be a better option than gimmershred :)

What's getting you stuck? Damage? Survivability? I'm guessing any struggles are mainly down to the weapons / taking a while to kill anything?

Damage is now better, I finally found a PUL and made an eth ettin oath, I am now in act2. Still Radament took a while to get killed
Survivability is an issue, when I get ranged enemies it's difficult. I have low resistances, I'm wondering if I should sacrifice few points in natural resistance before maxing the others? Or UMing arreat?

Makes absolutely sense, but I'm not ready to say goodbye to teleport. I think that overall Enigma is still a top option for a lvl 75 char in act1 hell, for any class

Make a couple of Spirits for offhand. That'll add a bit of survivability via a bigger & longer-duration BO, and massively speed up Tele / horking / improve your hork chance / etc. Also, Lawbringer could help particularly with undead (Lawbringer + the Death you now have should slap)

Also, you have CBF from trangs belt so you can drop Raven for a random resists ring or whatever (which also takes away the problem of cold damage= some shattered corpses = less hork)

I wouldn't bother with any more points in natural res. Between +2 from Enigma, +2 from Arreat +1 from Battle Command (drop a single point here if you don't have one already) you're already at the level where subsequent points in Natural Res are only giving 2-3 points per level. If resists still feel THAT bad, just trade a few pgems / crafting runes / whatever for a really shit roll barb torch + anni.

You could easily get through the game with your present gear if you respec to a zerk and wear a shield.
That being said you could trade your trangs belt for a dungo or strng(dr) or possibly find a pair of dracs? Or buy a life tap wand. Frenzy is a hard go without griefs and a lawbringer in the stash. Best of luck
