Step one is don’t use phoenix or 6/40 on a javazon

Step 2 is if you do, it's not for PvM (at least those javs, anyhow).

6/40 and Phoenix are an odd combo, which is why jsp is confused.

You can build Java to focus on Physical damage, which Phoenix EXCELS at, or lightning damage which 6/40 is best in slot for.

When you use 6/40 you want -20/20 JMOD with 4x -5/5 rainbow light die facets to max out the lightning angle

When you use Phoenix you want Upped Eth Titans or rare jav with cruel mod for %ED

Jav zon is really OP, and in classic you can only use a white plain javelin as there are no unique javs in Classic D2 but you still 1 shot the whole game

Give us some more context of what you are looking to do and I could go further. To be honest all of these best in slot items are purely for Player vs player and extreme overkill for PVM.

For PVM you can use gold find items on javazon like chanceguard gloves and still pwn everything.

I find titans to have the best quality of life for your player experience (auto replenish mod really saves you trips to charsi / Hlablu for repairs) and FRW, life leech, more

Spirit shield is very cheap and affords huge FHR, life, mana, res

Look up the FCR / FHR / and IAS tables and most of this work has been done for you already.

people use phoenix for the redemption aura, not the ed. never needing mana pots its very nice quality of life

Eth titans and phoenix for PvM, leech rings hardly help from current testing granted I only got 4%ML and redemption gives me my mana back before I notice any leech
