LONGGGGGGGGGG time player here. I don't know why I started the thread off with that statement. But whatever.

I feel as if my barb is a little glassy, and frankly, just kind of mid. So below I am posting my build, feel free to attack me accordingly.


Level 80:

Primary: 36/360 Grief PB (I'm a poor on the forums. Couldn't afford the goods)
Off Hand: 35/396 Grief PB

Can't really beat dual Grief PB? Obviously damage is greatly understated with Greif which is one thing that throws me off completely.

1010 MP Nigma- This could be one of my issues.

Raven Frost- We all know why.

String of Ears- Originally had dungos but made the switch for the damage reduction obviously.

2x40 HOTO on the switch.

Whirlwind AR of 4900
Defense 4648

RES is a little short so I am considering switching out to a 30 maras just for the extra res?

you should max battle orders.
you need a dual leach ring.
your ar is low try to get ar on your mana/dual leach ring. then you need ar life charms of some kind.
stick with the highlords.
trade that arreats to a bvb. use an ummed normal arreats. you might want to switch to an g-face when you get your res and ar figured out.

is blade mastery maxed?

do this then use the free skills to customize how you want.

This. Gface, hlords and get your attack rating and resists from inventory. Get nat resistance to level 13 after all + skills before finishing returns

Yeah, Dual Griefs are kinda bis, some eth 2h botd like wp or tm can combare if you go as titan rote ( all str ).

As told above :

Max WW
Max Blade Mast
Max Battle Order

Then 1 Battle Command, Shout ( pre req ) and Berserk. Personally i like to take lvl 13 nature ress also ( after battle command and eq ) to get 60@ , but also lvl 14 inc speed ( after battle command and eq ) for 40% frw. Rest skill points can go where ever you like but shout is common choice i think.

Personally i would swap arreat to guilli helm and bk to ml% ring with ar and res. Rest of your eq is fine, you can try forty for extra dmg if walking is okay to you.

Get Act 2 Might Merc with Reaper to proc Decry.

e: Get Anni if you dont have one and get ar / life , max / ar / life and life / res charms.

Enigma is good for PVM I'd stick with it. Tele is pretty handy for getting thru annoying maps. Keep in mind the extra STR from enigma counts as ED as well.

Fort is nice damage but it isn't as useful. You can sometimes get away with it on frenzy baba cause he's running so fast all the time.

1 more thing. use the grief with better damage as the primary weapon. if you need to use berserk or con you want to be swinging with the high damage weapon.

Switched to Um'd Gface, and respec'd. Damage seems more significant. AR is a tad lower, but I havent even touched charms/rings yet.

So far so good.
