Hey all. I am getting back into the GM pvp scene. Building out a zealer.

I have the opportunity of getting:

On the Legendary Mallet, I would need 120 ias total ias to reach BP of 5.2 attacks per second.

On the Berserker axe I would just need an additional 20 ias from gloves to reach BP of 5.2 attacks per second (60 ias total).

I know the Mallet hits harder, but you are sacrificing a lot of your gear for IAS.

What does the community think is a better choice?

Zerk > ALL imo.

How does the Mallet hit harder? The max damage on the zerker is higher. I'd pick the zerker.

Could be superior, because with the minimal dmg being higher than zerk, can create more average damage per hit g, just my opinion. I always go with zerk > mallet imo. later a.

Not trolling. Got an explanation as to why the mallet does more damage? Let's help the poster make an informed decision. Id like to know myself

There is a min number and max number to the damage. You add them together and divide by 2 to find the average damage the weapon could deal. Sure, the damage could roll the max, but it could also roll the lowest...

Mallet has higher average damage of the two weapons. But, the zerker has more options in terms of reaching the ias BP. I went with the zerker because of this reason
