I'm playing online Hardcore Classic NL using Blizzard as my main skill, with Firewall for immunes as backup. But frankly, Firewall sucks for anything that moves. I was considering doing a respec into Fireball instead, but does it get enough damage splitting points with blizzard? Which one would be better as the main skill?

I would like to do as much of the game solo as possible, though I know it will be challenging for a sorc. I read the classic guides for sorcs, however those are all single element builds meant for rushing. Fire/Cold is the best hybrid right? I can deal with having to save and exit to respawn super uniques with favorable immunities.

My items are all rares or magic at this point. I haven't found any of the uniques useful for casters yet. Where are good areas to farm at this stage? I've done Hell Andy a few times, but I'm getting too close to death for comfort too often. My fire and lightning resistance are about 60 in hell, I haven't found any diamonds yet to put in a shield.

I saw someone playing orb/hydra and was cool, you can reset if both inmune or static field until low hp and kill it some way

Blizzard is best got group chaos, orb/hydra is for solo play. DM me if you want to talk more

Hydra orb is great, but you typically need good gear to persevere in hell. Or you need to step-toe it forward. Especially in hardcore.

i think blizzard firewall is prolly the best... uhm if ur having trouble with this i might go blizzard fireball but i also fear that even with fireball they will also be moving and generally speaking these enemies are getting staticed down

but most importantly reguardless of what level ur gspike is it needs to be on hotkey and being spammed more then any other skill to a 100% up time as its aoe freeze is the highest survivaiblityyy

but i want to talk about gear for a while and on where u can farm... when im starting i like to farm nightmare act 1 to vender gear from the venders, or if you are around 50 u can also vender a 30/20 pris bone shield

venderable items make sure you have better in in all slots atleaste

30/20 20pris bone shield or 2 socket bone shield has very simular stats to a 38%ward with slightly lower block but honestly the points saved into not needing strength i think a 2socket bone might be better then ward
i would make sure you are not using a +skill amulet +skills are pretty bad, use the highest life and resistance amulet you got unless you were lucky enough to find Noak amulet which is likely the best sorceress amulet you can find in the game you can prolly even farm nightmare andy and get a noak amulet quickly 20FHR 50FR +15max is huge damage reduction and while FHR actually does suck FHR is pretty good before your able to skip the stun animation while leveling up during the leveling process because you will still go into stun animation while weak

the things nightmare andy and hell andy can drop in terms of the stuff your looking for to help you level up are not a big difference

now you may already be passed these magical items phase and already have rare gear on but make sure that the rare gear your using is actually HIGHER then the stats of the magical gear i listed because you dont want to be using rare gear that is not as good as magical gear, gamble boots at 31, 43 and gamble bone shields and boots at 54 i like to make sure i gamble any gold i got as soon as i hit level 31 on boots as boots are only 7000 per and its very easy to get 20frw 10fhr 30+ 30+
