Firsat yes I have read everything I can on this but im still struggling to understand two things.

1. If I were to imbue an eth Berserker axe, eth naga or eth War axe in a sittuation where im high enough level can you achieve the exact same mods on them in reguards to upto 300% + fools + self repairing or is there a less of a chance on the lower items and/ or can they not roll as high in general. or are they the saem and you justt upp them?

2. for a an eth Zerk, ware axe, naga if I were say 92 not 94 are the desired mods still possible? or 94 is the hard cut off to achieve such mods

thanks!

the item type does not matter to the affix combination

there is no cap towards high levels, only towards low levels. although higher level means that more mods are possible, so your desired mods get more unlikely. btw check the level again, 90+ seems too high for those affixes iirc

sorry I don't know much about Charsi - have been doing a few tiaras with her, as I get them, because they have their own strange rules. And can rarely yield a good item. Sorry if this doesn't help

Thank you for your response, I have a few follow up questions as I am still a bit unclear.

1. so being a higher level can be bad? so if someone was trying to get an Fools (ed/ias per level mod), Cruel (high enhanced damage Mod), Mechanic (sockets), Self repair. what is the best level to be?

2. if I were to use an eth War axe or Naga instead of berserker axe can/willl it effect potential top-end results? or they can get identical stats to the elite versions?

Every item has a different qlvl (quality level) and in some cases some other things (like magic_level) that will affect the final alvl (affix level) apart from the ilvl (item level), so yeah, using a different base will ask for a different ilvl to get the optimal result (optimal being enough ilvl to get an alvl high enough to get all the desire affixed but not higher so you can't get undesire affixed that ask for higher alvl).

If you don't know how items are generated this is a bit complicated, so your best bet is to follow this guide that is likely to have the answer for what level you need to be for the items you want to imbue (read it carefully to understand the information and assume is right in the answer)

I am go over the link now thank you, i come from d2 launch and d2 lod so this helps alot...

so in short im better off using a straight up eth berserker axe on charsi than eth war axe or eth naga if I want the best possible Fools mod self repairing and its always best to be lvl 94 for that...if im understanding correctly

You can imbue an eth zerk with a level 8 and hit alvl 56 mods because of the following formula

When an item is generated that has prefixes the alvl is calculated* from ilvl and qlvl as follows:If (ilvl>99) then {ilvl=99}
if (qlvl>ilvl) then {ilvl=qlvl} ;** see note below
if (magic_lvl>0) then {alvl=ilvl+magic_lvl}
else
{
if (ilvl<(99-qlvl/2))
then {alvl=ilvl-qlvl/2}
else {alvl=2*ilvl-99}
}
If (alvl>99) then {alvl=99}*all calculations use integers so there are no fractions at any step.
** this new ilvl value is only used for the duration of this calculation. The ilvl value that is stored in the items data file will remain unchanged.
