A Basic ZvA Guide for PvP Hybrid Amazons by Kimsulki84.First of all, I'm NOT the most professional Zon dueler. And I'm NOT mechanically high tier neither.
I started dueling since second ladder season of D2R. I did not duel in lod at all.
Before I started dueling, I was all about PvM Telebowa doing timed P8 Chaos runs because I just loved that weird challenge for some reason.
Then a lot of duelers were annoyed that I was keep posting about the PvM videos on my Youtube channel and sharing on JSP. Most duelers are miserable for no reason to be honest aside from a nice small group of cool dudes. No offense, it is what it is.
So I started getting into the dueling scene. Obviously it's completely different from PvM side of Diablo and man I was hooked.
Started reading all the Zon PvP guide from lod on JSP and learned a ton from the OG duelers who are still active in the scene. Started dueling a lot in pubs then moved onto a few legit leagues with GM rules.
In short, I'm not a high end dueler by any means, but I did learn from the best guys so take my guide as a grain of salt.

How to make the inventory for PvP Hybrid Amazon:It will be a mix of Inertia 3FRW 3Max AR charms and fine vita 3Max AR 20Life charms THEN 11 Resist Charms.
Different matchups requires different FRW and Resists to a few different elements.
So there’s no best inventory for either Walkzon or Telebowa. But you should be trying to hit the target FRW and Max Resist with your inventory for a certain matchup THEN fill up the rest with fine vita to maximize your damage and life.
So you should have these type of small charms to mix:20 x 3FRW 3Max AR

Then you are pretty much set for any matchup.
AR is not terribly important for Zons since Guided Arrow and Light Fury do not have AR hit check, so do not try to get high AR small charms if you are on a budget. The inventory can make the PvP full character budget night and day difference.
You should be getting 3Max 10AR 20Life over 3Max 20AR 16Life always. Life is a lot more important.

- As soon as sorc is on your screen, tele out to reset on Javaside to proc Open Wound from Swordback. Guided Arrow hits target after zon goes javaside will have a chance to proc open wound
- CT tele preferred for quick reset and repeat
- If sorc tops you, you can either Impale or Light BOLT
- If blizz thrown above you, do NOT run out, just tele out. Trying to run out of blizz will have higher chance to double or triple hit. Just take one hit and tele out.

- When he’s on screen, you have 2 choices
- If you are quick, run behind a pet opposite side of nec stomp and strafe once then switch to java and BOLT him. He should be gone already if he is a decent player
- Kite out and throw BOLT, if connects keep kiting with FURY. Switch namelock to Guided
- Bolt will hit past bone armor to have a chance to proc open wound
- If he’s overstaying, keep kiting with bolt/fury or stomp for Impale
- Do NOT strafe if nec uses bone prison. Strafe will target the prison. You can still mix in strafe after a few trades without. This can confuse necro what to do when stomping
- When you tele out to reset, keep throwing bolt to the direction where nec is approaching
- If you are stuck and feel the stomp, up bolt. This will hit nec right away when stomping you

- If you get swirled by 1 point smite, hdin is likely stomp with foh for the combo, southwalk and up bolt
- Hdin undercuttting with hammer is the dangerous so be unpredictable
- Do NOT kite to the wall or puddle or tree. Try to stay in the center of the map where it’s all clean so you can move to any direction
Vs Paladin (V/T)Just say GG and start and die if the opponent is a decent player
If some zon says, he is great at this matchup too, then he's playing vs low tier V/T. Decent V/T will beat any zon no problem at all.

- If sin is very closeby, throw bolt then Jab
- Look at the trap placements and try to kite out
- The traps are like pulse, you can feel when its time for them to shoot at you, so watch them and try to run out and dodge them while spraying multi
- Can tank 2-3 traps but after 3, you should be running out of it
- All traps POOF if you force sin to tele out far, so namelock Guided arrow is great to force sin to tele out and reset

Strategy:- You CANNOT get clipped by WW. Each WW will be about 750 bleed open wound damage.
- When do you get hit by WW?
- When running not walking with shield out
- When on bowside
-How to win this?
Don’t get hit by WW while not trying to tank +3 traps at once.- Always have decoy and valk and hearts/oak out.
- Multi on Approach, don't move if he's not on the screen so sin needs to guess who is decoy or you.
- When he’s on screen mid range, namelock Guided Arrow
- If sin is circle teleing while dropping traps, shoot multi
- If sin is wwing through you, Jab or Fury
- Can tank 2-3 traps but after 3, you should be running out of it
- All traps POOF if you force sin to tele out far, so namelock Guided arrow is great to force sin to tele out and reset
- If you know master is down, shoot Guided while running away from the traps
- If you don’t know master is down, shoot Multi while running away from the traps
- You should be running not walking when you have too many traps on you, this is when sin is trying to stomp for ww since zon is running not walking. So if you feel the stomp (usually right out of his screen with his traps shooting at you and he’s locking you mind blast), up fury.
***Ask what the mainhand is. If it’s like Erep Feral Claw or Runic Talon, he’s likely a hybsin which is trapper with heavy physical damage + open wound proc from clipping with WW. - Then you use Verdungo belt to get to 50DR. Use Shadow Faith instead of GMB to compensate for the loss of IAS BP. Same strategy applies
