You can still hit 125 FCR which is important cuz of CE is real damage and teleport faster

why do you want conviction aura so bad?

Conviction increases hit chance for merc and skeletons, but main reason is that, it lowers fire resistance of enemies and Corpse Explosion deals both fire and physical damage.

PS. Infinity also has Crushing Blow which is important against Bosses.
