I just started d2R after playing classic back in the day. Before I start my char what’s the best pvp class? (Best build weps/armor/shield etc) I remember back in the day Hdin and FB sorcs were all the rage

It’s matchup dependant and depends if you play GM, BM or teams but generally wind Druid and bone necro are “best” overall

Esfb is overpowered in the sense it’s almost impossible to lose with which is why it’s banned in a lot of GM communities. It’s a gay ass playstyle too and not fun or engaging at all so I don’t recomend

hybsin for 1v1. not a single rly bad matchup
walkbowa with telesetup. only bad matchup is smiter
both are expensive.
cheap chars that are good would be nec and esfb

Those are seriously good, but they exceed with personal skill level.
It that kind of char that sucks if you dont know how to play, and can be godlike with correct skillset

The one bad thing with tel3zon is that many people claim plague/psn javelin to be bm and ban it in some gm duels.

Esfb was never really top dueller in d2lod btw. The low dmg vs 90fr enemy made it extreamly easy to hunt for hunt chars. To low dmg to trigger stun or to properly punnish people offensive you.

BvC barb is also a very strong pvp class that can beat all but its very expensive with the Small charms p&b nec can beat all also ele druid with skill and they are not that expensive

or probably even better would be 75 fcr spirit setup with sanctuary on cta swap for slow missile
