Im trying to figure out how my zon keeps casting hydras. None of my gear has that ability and I am certainly not using the ability on my torch.
im using
war travs
windforce
shako
razortail
fort
2 sojs
seraphs
and some magic 3/20 gloves

merc is using
myst bow
fort and nats helm
and she is a ice rogue

this has me puzzled is it possible certain valks can cast hydra?

It's not the bow I swapped to a gmb and im still casting them

If you are using a valkiria the valk's gear could have the ability to cast hydras, but wouldn't be happening all the time, just for that game that you rolled that kind of gear.

Amulets can have a chance to cast hydras when struck and valkirias do get amulets if they are lvl13+ (for magic) or 25+ (for rare).

EDIT: What level is your valk tho? it may need to be a lvl40 cast to have enough ilvl on the amulet to get the hydras.

valk is level 26 maybe thats it. It's the only thing that makes sense to me.

Item Level min (22 + (3*slvl), 99)

oh yeah, at level 26 you have both enough level to get rare amulets and enough ilvl on then to spawn with hydras when struck.
