What's the best minimal Lightning skills investment for a D2:R Classic sorc for handling lightning immunes? I'm planning on running a cold/fire dual spec but wil have 5-8 pts Static for the additional range since static is OP in classic, but what else do we need from the Lightning tree to be able to reliably handle the lightning immunes? Some Nova or Thunderstorm w/ LM?

I want to be able to reliably clear Hell Chaos Sanc, but what's the least amount of points I could invest in lightning to do this.

so what you want to do first off to reliably clear this
is most importainly you want to make sure you attack seis's seal first, the reason why is you need to check how packed it is, if its packed what id recommend you do is teliport to vizor 1 shot him and go next game

i want to note here that chaos being packed is sort of rare and empty is more common so to be reliable just note that at the end of the day going to next game in a packed game is going to be the best thing to do to stay reliable

based on this i would recommend that maybe you lower the amount of points you have in static as for the most part
you should be fighting seis alot more while hes alone then while hes with others giving you more skills to put elsewhere

anywho to just answer your question imo i would say that you have 2 options here

#1 charge bolt, charge bolt if you dont mind being close
#2 lighting, lighting if you want to range it

i personally would not use nova or thunderstorm
