My current PvM Multiple shot Bowa set up is:

1.Bow: Diamond Faith
2. Head: 30ias/60max/30frw diadem
3. Amu: HL
4. Armor: Forti (Enigma is not an option for me)
5. Gloves: LoH
6. Ring 1: Reaven
7. Ring 2: dual leech/resists
8. Belt: Razortail
9. Boots: War Traveler

Inventar: Anni, Torch, max/ar/life charms

Merc: Act2 NM Offensive with Reaper`s Toll. May be use CoH armor and Gface?

Currently my set up achieves 100% pierce and 81% critical strike (combined)

I would appreciate opinions on what set up changes I could make to improve my build.

I have read some PvM guides for Bowas and couple of points do not make sense to me:

1. Atma `s amulet - ofcourse amplify is super nice to have, but 5% chance to cast level 2 amplify with multiple shot seems really bad to me. I have tried it and it does not proc consistently enough to make me build around it.
2. Pride runeword on merc - Aura damage boost is really big, but your merc becomes useless combat wise. Also, if your merc uses reaper`s toll decrepify effect should increase your damage more than concentration aura would, right? Also reaper`s combined with fana aura will turn your mecr into a war machine with great crowd control ability.

Please DO NOT mention Kira`s Guardian in this thread !!!

Regards,
Rolitasr.

I spotted a Taurean fan here

If you don't like atma, you may as well go with GMB and get the final 10IAS from the belt with nosferatu and max pierce, you will not get to 100% pierce but you will still have a nice % and a harder hitting bow.

Other than that everything is fine, you want pride cuz you are using atma and you don't want decrepy to erase your amp, you want atma tho in p8 games and your merc is going to be useless anyway, without teleport to move your merc and you inmense range you will be killing (almost) everything before the merc has the chance to go and procs decrepy in lower players games and is a choice between getting atma and proc yourself or getting reaper and try to make your merc to proc in p8 games, I prefer atma myself without enigma but it's your choice.

If you end up going with atma and pride merc, just get coh + andariel for the +4 skills to the might aura, you should avoid bosses anyway as bowazon so the CB on the merc is not really neccesary.

If Windforce can hit max fpa with Strafe. Why choose Diamond Bow Faith over it?

Because multi >>> strafe and with multi faith Diamond/Shadow bow have a bit better DPS than Windforce, WF is fine tho, just a bit inferior and also to max your DPS you don't go to 7fpa with is a bit annoying time to time (you have KB to compensate at least for that).

note that the amp proc from atmas is only viable if you use strafe, not multishot (since every arrow of a strafe salvo can deliver procs, but only the two middle arrows of a multi salvo)

if your merc is able to connect an attack before you kill everything, reapers is stronger than pride (multiplicative vs additive stacking)

Bowa is weak pvm. I like hybrid cold/phy dmg. Pure cold is very good against anything thats its not inmune but slow against inmunes, like mages in sanctuary. Also frozen arrow DESTROYS your mana.
I tested several builds with top item and this one is the most balanced one. Second bow is only to kill baal, if you don't do those you can swap for spirit/cta, spirit wiz for faster tele or other options.
I show items and skills at the end of the video.

your setup is fine

personally I'd prefer GMB + Nosferatu over Diamond + Razortail

as to merc, Pride is pretty strong imo. In my experience, merc is always lagging behind while you clear out everything while running (I use Harmony on swap and max/ar/frw GCs btw) so I'd rather benefit from a constant Conc aura than hoping from rare Decrepify procs. Reaper's certainly does a better job on bosses though, which is where a pure bowa lacks.

If you use GMB + Nosferatu, you loose the 33% piercing attack from Razor. Even if you max out Pierce skill, you would be around 87% chance for pierce on first target and for every other target after that, this chance would go less and less. With Diamond + Razor combo this chance would be 100% which means all your arrows would always pierce targets they meet. I feel loosing chance to pierce does not justify the slightly better damage bow base for PvM. The only way I would use the GMB would be with bugbelt as you get the better bow base and keep the 100% pierce chance.
