Hey all! I've been looking at off meta builds, and I'm thinking about doing a Dragon Sorc with a HoJ and FF helm. I'm wondering if anyone has tried this build with a Metalgrid and Infinity Iron Golem with an A3 or A5 Merc that's also decked out in Aura gear (either dual Dream + Dragon + HoJ or FF + Dragon(s)/HoJs). I've seen a similar build do well without the Infinity Iron Golem, but only up to like P3. Do you think a set-up like this would kill fast enough solo in P7-8?

Also, I'm unsure of which main Fire spell to use. I've seen some with Fire Wall, some with Hydra, and some with FB/Meteor. It doesn't look like I'd be able to get to the 63 FCR bp (Magefist, Arachnid Mesh and 2 FCR rings is just 60), which wouldn't be great for Teleporting but it looks like I'd be running around for the pulses a lot anyway, and using Tele for repositioning and moving to the next mob pack. Any experience and advice is appreciated! Obviously this is an expensive build and I don't want to get too deep into it if it's just not that great.

Sounds intresting 😁 Personally i would go with Hydra + Fire Ball.

the iron golem will die in your first run, just so you know

merc with aura gear doesnt do a lot, since the aura is not boosted (sorc has mastery, pala has synergy)

I was hoping the Conviction from Inf would help this enough to make it worthwhile. Not enough?

has nothing to do with luck. iron golems can't stand a tickle without golem mastery

have you done dream sorc bear with beast on swap and crescant moon, stormlash or 6 shaeled phase blade mh?

also with iron golem from metal grid the golem will poof once you leave the game
