So I started a new grail recently and I want Strafe Bowazon to be my main char.
I would like to farm Pit and Terror Zones on P1.

I'm wondering what kind of gear to use in certain slots, particularly the Helmet. I'm divided if I should use resistance or not.

My setup would look something like this - I have most of it already except the Bow and Armor:


Faith or WF
Cat's Eye - maybe Atma
Enigma
War Traveler
Razortail
Laying of Hands

The last slots are Rings and Helmet. I'm leaning towards either Kira (Isted) for resists and Nagel + Rare Leech/MF Ring. Up to 105 MF + Rare Ring without nigma/inventory.
The other option would be Stealskull (Isted) + Nagel + Raven. Up to 155 MF without nigma/inventory. Also full unique which I love about this.
I really have no resists at all other than Torch and Anni + maybe Faith. Some single res on Gloves. Any other suggestions for Helmets? Do I need resists in Pit on hardcore?

It's a cool build, but I doubt Mist is able to outperform Pride Merc with Might Aura. Also because I'm going Strafe I need only 80ias for WF and ~20 for Faith.

in my experience if youre not holding faith youre holding windforce because you went act 1 faith merc

although you could do hustle offhand to proc burst of speed and use any bow you want if you dont mind losing CTA

Demon Limb + Kite Shield 'FalFalFal' (30 STR) on switch. 7202 AR buffed with 8 hard pts in Penetrate.

I have the second highest BP for Strafe, it only loses 1 Frame for the entire animation. If I manage to acquire a GMB 4sox I will use a 15ias Jewel and gain 15-20% more physical damage with a similar roll and hopefully 3 skills. Diamond Bow is probably slightly better than Shadow Bow, but I got a pretty good roll on first try. Diamond Bow loses 0.5 average damage but has excellent damage range of 33-40, and you can drop a whopping 56 points in dex which is very nice. I have 1148 Life. GMB is overall best for sure and I'll likely wait for that.

Little bit of MF and cold res on Charms. My resists are:
Fire 50
Cold 30
Lightning 0
Poison 0

I have 284 MF, the move speed is pretty good thanks to Cat's Eye and Harmony. I figured the boost from Hustle is overall just not worth it and I would rather gain the large amount of MF from Skullders.
In the end Enigma is the way to go eventually for the best of both worlds. Also 80ias WF+Shael or Faith with just 20ias from LOH caps Strafe eventually. Could use Atma with Faith for big dmg and possibly moving to CS as main area. I would like some more +skills from Torch to drop points in Crit and Pierce for Penetrate.

Overall I would say it's going really well. Can clear P1 Pit smoothly. The one question that I have is - how big is the benefit from Knockback for P1? I don't have it atm.

Doing mf p1 is just inefficient especially with a bowzon. Your best bet is to farm random normal gear or runes with optimal gear on p8

Or get yourself a sorc/hdin for mfing instead. Why dig a hole with a spoon when a spade is available?

Where is the guy who knew everything and answered all questions until a few years ago. He dissed everyone who spammed random bullshit and kept this forum clean. Also questions were usually answered within a day. Anyone remember his name?
