This topic is referring to a gm melee pvp conc barb. I need some insight on the following:

Deadly Strike - does the critical strike i get from masteries make this less important?

Attack rating - is it better to have 36k+ ar and do 3k damage or 20k+ ar and do 6k damage?

I want to know what the best conc barbs stat screen looks like, example:

Damage - 5k
Ar - 30k
Defense - 35k
Life - 7k

Depending on what u fight high ar is important...

Mostly maul and conc but he will duel zeal and fury and feral rage any gm toons

Yup I would allway go for high ar... Dmg doesn't help when u don't hit 😉

Genenrally, DS effectiveness is minimalized by critical strike. Bvc still use highlords because of the need for FCR rings and fighting opponents with low defense, making Angelics provide relatively little value.

For barbs, 40ed/15max jewels add more damage than Lo rune in weapons

Ty for responding to thread, this guy just stands and slaps so i dont need fcr but i would like try a 40ed/15max in an eth runemaster someday.

Focus highest possible defence, maintain 23k+ ar, then find a nice ratio of life/DMG that u like
