Made my first auradin using duo dream with hoj and dragon

my question:

What's the best merc set up for this kind of build?

I am currently using act 5 merc with dream helm, enigma and huslten with plague weapon

you don't want to use an enigma on a merc. it's not ethereal is it? hustle and plague are good weapons for a frenzy merc but something with a lot of elemental damage might be better for an auradin merc. an eth djinn slayer, a frost wind, an azurewath all might be good if you are using conviction.

your weapons are fine, you might change armor/helm though. dream is especially bad since it potentially overwrites your precious lower rew curse and it barely increases the dmg of the merc. a better option might be cure (for the aura), andariels (ll/str/ias/skills), gulli (ds/cb), vamp gaze (ll/dr), arreats (str/dex/skills/@/style points). unique helms can also be socketed with cham for cnbf, which greatly boosts survivability. armor should be eth treachery (budget) or eth fortitude (if affordable); if you have no ll anywhere else, eth coh is the way to go

Little update on my merc: He is now using a Flickering flame tiara + Dragon archon plate + eth mythical sword hustle and plague.

I am also thinking about maybe changing The Hustle or The Plague for an HOJ PB to see if it synergies with the flickering flame and dragon armor.
