i made a auradin with all 3 elements. i maxed salvation and fire resistance. got to lvl 25 with con. got 1 point into holy shield. i split the rest of the points between light res cold res. im using a medusa's gaze right now i thought there might be a use for it. there doesn't seem to be though. so for a shield would a dragon or dream be better? if i go with dream i will respec so that light res is maxed. the aura damage isn't anything great but the attack damage is good. would it be worth it to go with more than 1 point into vengence?

also i do have doom thunder maul I'm going to try out too.

medusas doesnt work great, especially on paladin bc of his higher block

i think i have exactly that build as well. doom ba, dragon armor, dream shield/helm. have to look up my skill distribution, but should be something like this
max all three resist auras
1 point into the usual skills
max vengeance
max salvation
rest to holy shield

i am using my doom thunder maul now. i like it better. i respec out of dex and went less into conviction. i also saved 3 points not going into holysheild. for my build, because i have a budget dragon that someone made in a hellforge plate im going to try for a dragon shield. so it will help me hit 196str. but for now it works out fine using the thunder maul.
