so im running a dragon-din and im curious about the holy fire damage.

Obviously flickering flame has +3 to fire skills, which i just saw that it dosnt apply to "resist fire" skill, so im assuming this will only give +3 to the holy fire aura and ofc the -%fire res is nice

however wouldnt it make more sense to have for example shako that gives +2 skills to resist fire, salvation and the holy fire aura?

socket it with 5-5 fire facet and its a maximum -10% fire res that ur missing, but u get +5% fire dmg and +2 on resist fire and salvation?

what does the most damage? Anyone know?

also i used shako as example, you could also use andys face. Depends if u want more MF or more ias/life leech

edit: im talking about the pulse damage.

only hardpoints for synergies and no +skills for auras provided by items so only the -res and the facet are the only factors in your example

Aha, thanks for clearing that up. I went for a coa 2 sox with 2x 5-5 fire facets!

Should be nearly as good as a flickering flame (which can be -15%) but with coa i get the +10% dmg and -10%enemy res + resi, fhr, dmg reduction. I think CoA is Best in slot from what i can see.
