Hi, i'm trying to beat HC Hell on P8 with Sorc. I noticed i can't just lower reists mosters to push so i need dual type of damage build. Mercenary (freeze aura, duriels armor, insight max 1k dmg, cure rw helmet) can't really help there, dying too quickly. I'm currently lvl 72 (will lvl up on nightmare to 80), using trang gloves, spirit in sword, rhyme shield (will socket monarch for spirit if i find one), natalyas set boots, lore helmet and the only decent item of my character is COH (i made from runes i dropped with the other characters). What i would love to do is dual type damage sorc and make her almost invincible. I can't really find a guide how to make a character tanky, i know i should focus items with reduced damage (i don't know the exact numbers i need there and if coh can be good armor for this type of character), max res (not max but pretty high on hell) and max block (working on it need 10 more lvls). If you have any tips about dual sorc type or any i can use, please help.

Dual sorc is usually Tals otherwise Sunders should take care of everything. Just check immortal sorc using Gbane and Gerks with ES but it’s only one element super tanky.

Your Merc needs Life Leech to survive. If Cure and Insight are must, then your choice is either Skin of the Flayed One, Boneflesh or CoH that you're wearing, and get yourself Magi instead :-)

I had used old school Nova/Fire Ball in LoD. It worked somehow with Crescent Moon Zerk and Phoenix, but not HC.

I'm curious if maxed Orb/Hydra/Telekiness with Memory can kill mobs in p8 Hell. I guess not, lol.
