How much does the -% light Rez matters on a self use Nova sorc?

Can anyone explain, was looking at cheap low infy does it matter?

If it’s self use try get -55 lite res ed don’t matter

it's noticeable for sure, the - enemy res is where your damage comes from.

but it's not make or break. conviction, -45 from infy, -~20 from griffon and an rbf is plenty enough to clear with ease
