Hello, as in topic. Character is about buffing a1 fire merc with enchant and casting static/nova for dmg(and eventally 1p forst nova for slow).
Player character is gonna wield infinity. Merc is gonna wield Mist for pierce.
The problem is: what would be the best chest and helmet choice for merc? Since it's mostly flat fire damage, best way to scale it is attack speed and -enemy fire res, isn't it?
My ideas are
Treachery + Flickering flame - going down to 11 ticks attack means + ~23% dps from ias, -10-15% fire res on top of that
Treachery + Stealskull with Facet/Cham - going down to 10 ticks means ~33% dmg, -5% fire res and also 5% base fire dmg from arrow, right?
Treachery + 3 socket circlet with life steal with 3x facet - 11 ticks=+23% dps, -15% enemy fire res, 15% base exploding arrow damage
I have infinity and few types of damage(fire, light, phys also) so -enemy fire res shouldn't be must have for immunities. It's all about effective dps, with ifinity these facets/flickering flame would only make noticeable change against high res monsters which makes me question this choice.
What do you think guys? Would rogue be fine without "Cannot be Frozen"? Maybe you have some better gear ideas?
