Got some people asking me the setup I was using in pubs haha, so I'll just list it here:
cta scepter +bh/conc - you will use this to hammer stuff. A cs/flail cta will suffice here, because a normal cta will kill most opponents in 2 hits on this setup
spirit st
enigma
2/20fcr/2os circlet ar/ias jewels - ias is used for chain charging
nature's or raven + 1x fcr/ar ring
2/20fcr amu
trang's
arach
shadow dancer
20fhr from inven, total 48fhr on offhand swap
switch: ebotd warpike or edeath glorious axe - more range (less risk) vs more dmg
Strat is the same as standard hvn. Cta+spirit is the main casting hand, but with 6fpa smite for foh lock. When you see the necros start to southwalk, just switch to charge wep and conc+charge them to death. I usually kill them with 2 hits using 1 pt charge. Sometimes they will get mb swaps, but that would mean they aren't using white+spirit so in some ways that's already a win anyway. They can be charged while they southwalk even with mb, but they cannot be chain charged then, but it usually means it will be easier to kill them with hammers after that anyway. May be BM under some rulesets, but in pubs it's usually anything goes
I usually rely on hammers, though. In some instances you can just tele around with your charge weap at 80fcr/50fhr, and then just charge in the moment you get a namelock, depends on whether necro is defensive or aggro. Most people will die from 2 hammers anyway even if your casting hand has no fcr/skills. I just swap in a HL ammy+extra fcr/ARE ring if I cannot be bothered to keep switching weaps, and play exclusively on 2h death:
cta/spirit

2x fcr/ARE ring

I know grief pb setup is probably more effective, but I just like to instawin rather than rely on multiple smites and stuff
