So, I'm thinking about changing my lightning sorc to a nova sorc and would like some input. I'll mostly be farming cows/countess so nothing crazy. What gear setups are you guys using for something like this?

Self weild infinity/ griffon ormus nova + gear enough to hit 105fcr offhand cta warstaff 3es/1ca atleast or regular cta bo6 + liless to save str merc: regular insight fort andy

My setup (it cost a lot so maybe you can change some items for no real impact on your cows/countess run)

3res boots (can do trek for poison resist - poison is the worst for nova energie shield sorc)

Merc: Eth Insight + Eth Coh + Eth Cure + Prayer merc.

Its pretty standard: infinity, facet griffon, facet vmagi, 20 fcr 2 skills ammy with mana and regen, 2 sojs, magefist, treks, arach. I have torch, anni, light skillers, lsunder and some life and mana charms. 6 bo cta + lidless

Merc is prayer, eth insight, cure helm, eth fort

I put just enough strenght for treks once torch and anni equipped, then all in energy. I also completed all stats quests and the birds, and im lvl 96, this gives 95% energy shield with roughly 800hp and 3k mana once bo is up

Enough skillers for 95% es and sunder if you want

Insight
Cure
Fort/coh depending

My 2/20 setup is 3300 mana and 800 hp at 96

they are hiding from us in this less-known corner

That's outrageous!

On the other hand though...

Cheaper eschutas for us, 200fcr above all.

Infinity is in the hands of my merc in my build.
He also has duriels shell on with crown of thieves.

Trekks
Skillers, sc with fhr/lr and life/lr
Some @ sc with life or mana
Fcr 105, fhr 86, dmg over 5k
Resis : cold and poison max, fire and light at 50.
