For high runes you just want high player count and high mob density:
Cows
Chaos sanc
TZ tombs

Mf doesn’t matter when only looking for runes - only clear speed

arcane sanctuary is the best spot. focus on killing the ghosts and opening chests

The issue is this... you need to kill them when they appear on the Walkway, otherwise the drops don't appear because they are aren't on the pathway.

LK has been pretty good to me

LK is by far the best for single player where you can roll for a good map but it’s not worth it online imo.

That's true. Although people don't seem to check more than the superchests. All HRs i found came from a random log, corpse or stash. Pop everything in there, it's truly a gold mine
