I was always under the impression ED is better but why does the tool tip say my damage is higher with 45max?

is the tool tip a lie or am i missing something?

I always assumed ED was better because you already get so much max damage from your charms. Idk man

Yep. got no clue. used to always ran with ED but just got back into d2 after bored out of my mind from d4 and got myself a 30frw/45/45 as well as 30frw/45/120 and the damage is just higher on the tool tip with 45max

Which base are you using?
If your base damage is high, 15/40 is more effective

tried with both a diamond and gmb faith and in both cases 45max is just high avg damage

It's well known that 40/15 are only better for windforce setups, for faith setup 15/15 give more damage.

Did any1 do the math after d2r buffed bow skills? I would assume thats the reason, buffed skills now add so much % with the new syntenergies that the max jewels adds more.

Anyway, its simple math to find.

(Min+max)/2 * (1+((skillEd%+statbonus%+aura%)/100))

Thats the average damage.
On ga i would assume even bigger damage difference between the 2.
Dex ammount May matter as well. And ofc bow base.
