I rolled 400ed on an ebotdwp, how well does a ww barb with that hold up in PvP? I know a bvc is leaps and bounds better but the spear looks cool lmao.

Combed around in the forums and saw people talking bout GPA a long time ago for better frames, does this still apply after the ww changes? Read the changes nerfed 2 handed. Appreciate any feedback!

i had a gpa barb in lod. it wasn't quite as good as a bvc most of the time, but it was way better vs smite. the "nerf" made the gpa worse but the war pike isn't. also leap attack is usable in duels now and would be awesome with a botd wp.

I was asking cuz I made a leap attack barb. Damage is great at 30k. But damn I can’t hit anything lol

Agreed, gpa used to be really good against smiter with the extra range and ww-ing away. But with the new ias formula, you hit way slowly now with any 2h weapon...so until there are any updates or changes to improve it, i might stay away from 2h ww for now. Instead i feel 2h zerk is the way to go with its 1shot capability and maybe a 11frame option.
GPA or GT base would be more ideal i guess.

well i didn't say it was good i said it was usable lol. you need to run up like you are going to ww and leap attack instead. or use it as a threat vs ranged attacks you can jump over so they don't just spam at you. also you can't tele stomp on console it comes in useful there.

for pvm i like 2 handers with zerk in combination with war cry. never had much luck with berserk in pvp.

Yea it's definitely not the best pvp build for barb, just something fun and next in line if people are looking for 2h builds outside of grief/beast ww.
