Hello every one.

I’m just coming back to d2R and wondering what setup I should run on my act 2 merc. I am a lvl 89 hammerdin, still have loads of gear improvements to do however I want to get my merc on point as he keeps dying even when I am teleporting around trying to crowd control.

I always used to run insight with fort and Andy on a holy freeze act 2 merc.

I have been hearing people run a cure helm on it now with prayer, is that the better play nowadays? Or should I swap out fort for coh so there is some life leach?

Final setup would be an insight-coh-cure on prayer act2 merc.

Or the basic version insight-fort-andy on holy freeze act2 merc.

I’m assuming the prices are close to the same with Lo and Andy vs The Ber rune.

Any help would be appreciated

hey! had the same question here and i tried some setups…

i prefer cure / insight / forti or treachery > andy or other helm.

since i use phoenix shield and got enough mana i also tried eth reaper / forti / gulli. nice setup especially for w2 baal for example

the cure/insight merc never died and always had enough life since the life rep is enough from auras :-) (self bo no bo barb)

I don’t have a cta yet I found ohm last night still need to find an ist to make it but that would help my survival a lot more
