Pretty sure I know the answer but looking for confirmation on this.

Are thrown javelins counted as missiles when thrown thus halving the effect of crushing blow?

I saw on the wiki that now and crossbow were the only weapons considered missile weapons but that could be because throwing weapons can be missile or melee depending how they are used. Just wondering if this is true for the crushing blow calculation or not.

according to amazonbasin, thrown javelins are ranged whereas melee javelins are melee. but i dont know if D2R changed something there

That’s what I thought thanks man. I don’t think they changed anything in that regard.

Was considering using cb gloves on my throw barb but if cb is half effective from ranged penalty I’ll for sure stuck to laying of hands.
