I have an act2 (might aura) with eth pride.

problem I have in hell is, he is only support for my pvm bowzon, and when the monsters get tough, they kill him like a little B

I've tried both eth treachery, and eth fort high def.... He survives better w/ eth fort I feel but... its still annoying having to pay 50k gold to revive him so often

So question is
how to make the TANKIEST pride act2 merc?
whats best helm+armor combo?

Pride + Eth Andy + Eth CoH

eth coh is more tanky than eth fort??

Eth fort is necessary with pride because pride by itself doesn’t give any Ed to the weapon and the merc will have not much life leech as a result. For helm I suggest eth cham’d vgaze forvthe leech, dr and cannot be frozen

You could use Andy’s which would increase his might aura lvl to increase your dps but he won’t be as tanky with that setup

Well. Pride isn't the best weapon in terms of survival. And as bowa, he will be exposed to taking damage. You simply have to implement a safer playstyle and not have him being surrounded so often. Also use valkyrie, i guess you do that, to help tank damage. You should be on the enemies with arrows all the time, causing stunlock and interrupts.

yeh thats what I try to do... but those super uniques who put amplify dmg on us... melts him lol and I mean MELTS

That's normal. You have to kite them. They probably kill a level 30 valkyrie within 2 seconds as well. That's why i like strafe + atma's scarab. When you amp them, they die very fast.
