I use a goldfind barb where I do all the killing myself (currently not using merc)

If I equip a merc with buncha goldfind items, does the calculation add up towards my character even if the barb does the killing?

so for example, say my barb has 100% goldfind total, and merc has also 100% goldfind, if the barb kills does it count as 200% gf?
I can't seem to find the answer for this. I know if the merc is doing the killing, its counted as 200%

No, it only works the other way around

Cmon.. in that scenario you could equip 2x 6lem weapon + wealth armor and 230gf helm for extra 1430 goldfind just from merc. Too stronk
