What is the best way to go skills wise for light sorc PVM build?

Is it full ES build? can someone point me in the right direction

It comes down to personal preference but my go to is nova with full ES and Infinity on a low req base (usually scythe)
20 in static, nova, mastery, telekinesis and ES
1 in frozen armor and warmth (teleport ofc but it’s a prereq for ES)
Merc I used to go with a standard setup but might try the cure-insight combo on a prayer merc this time

no reason to go es on a pvm lightning sorc. you don't have the spare skill points to avoid a considerable damage loss. you also shoot shit from a distance, unlike a nova sorc

max lightning, synergies and mastery. spare points if any into either warmth, ts or static.

as for build, make sure you reach 117 fcr. always use cmoon for the - enemy light res, the rest is negotiable. example:
