Hello I have a Sorc Cold Mastery question I need some clarity on…..does the “-%” cap at a certain number? Say for instance you have a high level cold mastery and it’s -200% for example…..does it cap at like -150% like conviction does for a FOH pally or is it really the -200%/5 for a true -40% enemy cold resists

A monster or player cannot be put below -100% resist

A player with exactly 50 cold resist, you need -150%

A player with overstacked resist at like 100, u need -200 etc

It only works at 1/5th or 6th effectiveness vs creatures u use a sunder charm for to remove immunity.

Thanks! Was just just curious if cold mastery maxed at a certain number like conviction does on pally but it’s looking like just get that as high as possible to get the -100 for regular monsters a d get the cold immunes down as much as possible

It never max out.

Cold immunes dont get down unless u sunder them.
Potentionally conv or lr them.
