can you still pester the chickens in act 1 enough to make them attack?

i found 1 website that says it's still in the game, but i couldn't make it happen when i tried. Maybe I wasn't patient enough.

no it is or was in this game where the chickens would start hopping up and down then fly at you 10s of them each doing 1 point damage.

Was in Zelda not in D2, if i remember right.
