It's so late in the current D2R Season, why would the value be going up when there are so many to choose from ? In the last 4 days it has risen 30 % in value (at least in what people are asking)

Is it more desirable than Ber rune? Confused <---

The reason is that everybody knows they can sell Bers. So they buy them in bulk from websites.

Which leaves the supply of Jah runes lower than that of Ber runes on jsp. For runewords that require both, like Enigma, they need an equal supply and when the supply for either is lopsided, the demand for both will cause the price for the lower in supply to increase.

The price of Jah runes then increased as an incentive. It's economics.

Also, people still roll for perfect gear later in the season.

Good feedback and essentially the heart of the issue I ran into looking to complete my own enigma. At a glance I thought the value of jah might be worth more on the not-ladder server that all d2ladder(s) end up migrating to. Cheers guys, thanks for the help<3

The two runewords that almost every character wants

Demand for Ber is higher than Demand for Jah

but Supply of Jah is typically 1/2 Ber or less because it drops a lot less frequently. It actually takes 2 Ber to cube a Jah so there's no workaround there either... Whereas Sur is used in almost no realy valuable runewords, so Sur is almost always bought and cubed up to Ber.

This way the prices usually level out to be equal... Because supply of Ber is actually a lot higher than supply of Jah. Jah is a pretty rare rune.

In new ladder, Jah should be worth more than Ber.
