Looks like CTA staff is the best option for a pvm sorc?

With:

3 es
1+ ts
1+ sa (shiver armour instead of fa or ca?)

If going es, sure

Other wise standard cta and buff spirit

Yes

the cold armors are pretty meh for pvm, don't over-invest here. Also TS only does significant dmg when you are going for a light build with skillers and mastery (and even then the dmg is marginal compared to your main attacks). imo enchant is more useful to buff your merc and save some points there

Im mostly using light or nova/es but been putting 1 point on fa and 1 on ts.

Lol, I've never used enchant and didnt even know it buffs my merc 😅
