Gonna sweets the time for something new that wouldn't seen often and build a Ranger.

Using upped Kuko combined with maxed Holy Fire Synergy for AoE
And wws on swap for anything else that is immune to fire or Pi's. To gain more magic Dmg I would using Sanctuary with maxed cleansing.

Rest of the Gear would be followed

Gulli or Andy

Lava for Enchant to gain more Fire Dmg and also get a Bonus for ar

Razor

Raven + Dual Leech

Boots and Amu not sure. Actually using Silk's and Cat's for Defense especially against missile's. Cause tbh I don't got a spread of arrows to stop multiple enemy's to shoot at me.

Well if you want to make ” funny build ” with bow then maybe try out Assassin instead of Paladin ?

I never played assasin on d2r and I don't want to. Same with Sorc

magic dmg from Sanctuary only works as radial tick dmg, it is not added to weapon dmg.



not sure if i understand you correctly, how is that supposed to work? holy fire adds fire dmg to weapon attacks (and the explosions of kuko arrows), but only if the aura is active. so you either need holy fire as main aura (bad idea, since you want fana for attack speed) or from items. but if you use a bow, only 1 of 3 item slots can be equipped with an item granting that aura (body armor, since weapon and shield slots are occupied). this leaves you with quite low added fire dmg
last thought: why not just add a fire sunder and some -fire res gear to your build and fully focus on that, it already seems hard enough to pull off

You understand right. I try to max out the fire dmg with holy fire+ synergies combined with an upped Kuko.



That's not quite right
Sanctuary does a radial tick dmg against undead. But it also gives you a bonus magic dmg to your weapon.
That's why I consider to add this dmg to the lvl 20 magic Arrow from the wws. I try to maximize the physical dmg anyway to get 20% of that dmg and want to add the magical dmg from sanctuary at the end.


To getting access to fanaticsim I play with an act 1 mercenary with Faith.

Yes i could using a sunder Charm to break the immunities. But without Infinity it's not Worth cause the fire dmg is to low even if I push it with flame or else. And it's also hard to obtain resistances like a bowazon. So that's only an option when this doesn't work

Demon machine grants only 11 fps.
Kuko grants 9fps Maximum at 125ias
So 10fps should be able

I think crossbows are hardcapped at 10fpa.
