Holy shock or holy fire?

Dual dream(Helm/shield) or hand of justice/flickering flame?

Why?

Holy shock is stronger, less immunes.

Does that matter if you have conviction?

Is lvl 30 holy shock (dual dream) better than lvl 15 shock + lvl 14 fire (with -enemy resistance)

Duo dream with synergy maxed. Self conviction with merc reapers and using grief pb to hit max attack speed is one of the best holy shock zealot.

Yes conviction increases your elemental damage and increases your hit chance. With conviction your AR value is not needed as much. Holy Shock is stronger and there’s tons of fire resistance mobs.

From my experience - all other stats being equal (lvl 25? Conviction aura) and using respective sunder charms.

Dual dream allows enigma (mobility), and other gear variety. Less direct aura kills than fire, but zeal survivors without issue. I run mine with crescent moon PB. Run mine with faith A1 merc. Inventory is primarily MF charms.

Dragon/dragon/HoJ/flickering absolutely melts. Most mobs are dead from aura alone before you get a hit in. Most mobs dead before even on screen. 4 pieces so doesn't allow much else gear variety. Faster on P1 than dream, but feels it drops off harder than dream on higher player counts. I actually run mine with A3 merc with full fire/enchant gear (+3 ormus) to boost my AR and add more fire. Inventory is primarily max damage/AR charms. Also run Phoenix shield on swap as the constant charging around burns mana quick but with aura nuking entire groups, there's always corpses around to perma-charge entire zones.

I'm sure there are better or more optimum ways to run both builds (use grief instead of CM on dream pally for example), but thats what I run for both and enjoy them equally. Also gave me viable options to run other mercs than the meta A2 aura jabbers.

I really enjoy using my holy shocker and have no problem soloing any 96 tzone or boss in a p8.

I'm almost done building my holy fire. HoJ, 2x dragon, and I'm going with CoA with 2 5/-5 fire Facets. Merc will run eth reaper, fort, and Andy's.

Thoughts on fire build?

2x facet CoA is actually a great idea instead of FF. Going to have to try that.
