i want to use full tal rasha set sorc, so, which one would be the best MF sorc with tal set?

what i mean is, the rest of the items? can you list it? also.. what light fire or cold? in that case, what on merc?

Cold with be strongest by far until you have Infinity. Specifically blizzard.

My merc is usually defiance but if he dies to much you can try the barb out.

On merc you an use eth thresher insight but that may be to expensive. maybe bone hew. I can't remember the other one. its the unique thresher.

If your gear sucks then the barb is good as a tank.

Play around with it and have fun.

cold sorc : frost nova without infinity ok on budget build some terrorzones suck since nerf
light sorc more powerfull with nova and infinity on merc is end game build like and very safe

2 soj required on each, crafted mana boots with poison resi
magefist spirit shield 35fcr req
skiller and gheeds torch anni sc with resi/mf

how many fcr? im using this on bolizard mf

this is 35spirit+20df+10armor bonus set +10 belt bonus set so its 75fcr

is that enough or should i get more by 10fcr rings or gloves?

get At least %63 but %105 will feel much faster.

No difference until you reach %105. so %100 is the same as %63.

blizzard sorc fcr breakpoints are 63 and 105. since blizzard has a cooldown so fcr only supports your teleport speed and sorc is already quite fast on casting, staying at 75 is fine for a blizzard sorc. only go to 105 when you can do that without sacrificing much gear with skill bonus

i would change 1 naguel vs 10 fcr ring and change 40 vs trangoul gloves

so i would sacrifice 70 mf.

what do you think?

depends on your total mf and your playstyle. if you do mainly meph, then high fcr is beneficial for fast teleport. if you full clear chaos, you will have to wait anyways until the monsters have died from your blizzard, so fast teleport is not that useful in this case

higher fcr means lower blizz cooldown

always have 105 fcr on your non-lightning mf sorcs. it's non-negotiable unless you like sucking ass



high mf is overrated. you don't need more than 200

according to amazonbasin, it is not. blizzard has a cast delay of 45 frames which is started after the action frame. and 63fcr and 105fcr breakpoint on sorc have the same action frame, the "recharge" frames between action and ready state dont matter since they are inside the cast delay and thus overwritte. even going to 200fcr only yields the action 1 frame sooner, so dps will be increased by 1/50=2%

tldr: unless they changed it in some patch (which i didnt find anything, but i am not active on D2R), fcr is pretty much meaningless for blizzard dps. it is only about teleport speed and this is mainly important if you need to tele from a waypoint to your target; when clearing you anyway have the delay between casting and monsters dying until you can collect loot
