hello, i want to equip an smiter to play duels vs allt hose mele that you can face in public games, but mainly vs rest of smiters

so i need to know the whole equi because i havent idea.. specially

helmet?
grief pb is the right weapon?
as shield should be exile? or better 121ar 65%ed 4 sox with some specific jewel?
armor is forty? enigma? any other armor?

these are my main questions but still need a complet build if you can help me
i apreciate also the correct stats and spells placing!

remember, mostly would be a smiter vs smiter build but i really apreciate if you can explain me situational items vs situational fights, mainly mele, because i will fight mele

good guide, only real change since then is that fhr isn't as important and phoenix is #1 in almost every case on d2r due to fire storm no longer being bugged

e: note that if you're exclusively planning on dueling vs melees/other smites, you can ditch eni for forti. but that's the only time you wouldn't want eni

Armor: Enigma, at least a Dusk Shroud, ideally an Archon Plate

Shield: Ber'd Upped HoZ

Gloves: Fully upped Bloodfist

Ring 1: Ravenfrost

Ring 2: Open. BK, another raven, good rare, good crafted ring. BK is nice for the extra + Battle Orders and life.

Belt: Verdungos

Boots: Eth Sandstorm Treks

This is what i use on my vt. I swap between everything depending on the match-up and how much fcr, res or Dr I feel like I need

Helms: ber ber coa, ber shako, um Kira, 2/20/life/res circ
Amulet: 2/20 amulet
Armor: enigma
Weapon: grief pb, grief z
Shield: 35fcr spirit st, p upd hoz, knights Phoenix st, res Phoenix st
Ring: raven, bk, fcr ring, wisp, dwarf, nature's peace
Gloves: trangs, 20/10cb glove, dracs
Boots: upd waterwalks
Belt: 40/15 dungo, tgods, arach
Charms: 10x life/res sc, 9x pcomb life, torch, anni

My typical setup vs all:

Berber coa
2/20 amulet
Enigma
Grief z
Spirit st
Ring 1 nature's peace
Ring 2 raven
20/10 cb gloves
40/15 dungo
Upd waterwalks

This gives me max dr, high res, high life, 48%fcr bp, 86fhr bp, and more range than pb. If I need to Tele faster then I'll put on trangs and swap to grief pb.

I've been using dracs with grief pb lately since 1 peice of life tap is considered gm. Not sure how I feel about it yet lol
