Someone say that stable damage is better. 4max just wish for luck. so take 9min

Someone say that 4max will increase the range of avg dmg

and something I heard is 9 can get more(after %ehance) than 4

or just depend on how many hp does opponent have? it is hard to say which is better when there are so many different chart in pvp game?

How do you guys think?

I'll do the math for you:

9 > 4

If you deal 500-999 damage, and your opponent has 3000 life, then +4 max damage gives you a chance to kill them in 3 hits rather than 4.

Secondly, inconsistent damage is better than consistent damage because opponents tend to run (especially hammerdins) when low on life.

you can construct examples like this so they fit either min or max. actually one might look at the full distribution
i'd rather go for consistency since you don't get use from overkill dmg

in an attempt to settle this, i just did a simulation with 10^9 runs each
even in the case of 3000 life and 500-999 dmg, 9 min beats 4 max: 503-999dmg takes (on avg ofc) slightly less hits to kill your opponent than 500-1003dmg

totally agree with the last point. when oppnents know ur dmg always do 8xx(consistnecy) he will not scare to take one more hit with 900life reamin
