Im making a barb and im going make death runeword . I was going to use phase blade and then i thought of eth Zweihander! whats yall think??

Why not a CB or CS?

The str just seems to extreme for my taste imo

you should make a death in a BA then. if you have to make a pb or eth zwei make a zweihander. pb would be a total waste.

both pb and zweihander are trash. death gives a percentage increase to weapon dmg, so you need a weapon with high base dmg aka elite base (unlike grief, which adds flat dmg). since death gives the indestructible mod, go for an eth weapon. this limits you to cb/cs or ba/ettin/elite 2H axes to be effective

I have a grief PB was trying figure a off hand for my barb.

the best offhand is grief


kinda sucks but the truth is every time someone asks "what's the best weapon for X melee" 99 out of 100 times the answer is grief
and that 1 time where it isn't is some weird fringe case like Avenger paladin

Would you argue grief is better for a fury Druid as well? Or is that an exception melee class?
