I have obession +3 nova +1 es, so its 7 nova 5 es in total, i go up to 5.4K nova damage with that (3.6k normal setp up listed)

My question is:

Should i move eth infinity on Merc, refuse to use insight, and then play myself with the obession + maybe ormus or just keep the viper (recalculate fcr since obsession gives 65 etc... )

or i should just keep going like this?

that obsession gives you higher on screen damage due to the +7 nova, but it gives you way lower actual damage due to not having - enemy light res

the setup you're already using is correct. obsession is trash

i see, and one more question, im currently using ort rune on viper and griffon, to counter sunders.. should i quit sunders? should i ignore my -60 light ress and put facets on armor and griffon? since i wont get hit that much..?

ES sorcs don't need any other resistances than poison. since es absorbs 95% of your damage and doesn't take resistances into account, only the 5% going to your health is affected by res.

keep using sunder and put 5-5's in viper and griffon

e: and make sure you put 20 hard points into telekinesis and energy shield if you haven't already
