anyone have a decent build for either java or bow zon, for classic hardcore?

something that could clear hell chaos

It’s the least played class for a reason..will you be solo or group? If group a necro can really bring up the zon with lower res

If solo I’d look into the guide from vonhizzle and read through comments for ideas. Only thing is that in d2r synergies changed and I think the same build would have lower cs/lf dmg now but I’m not 100% on this

If I were to build one now I would go something like this…
1pt p&m tree, 10 total valk with +skills
20psn jav
20lightning fury
20charged strike
20 plague jav


It’s very difficult to get good res on a zon but in d2r iratha set gives piercing now so something like this may work

Full iratha
Twitch
Superior throwing spear
Sig shield
Soj
Soj
Amazing tri res boots

Or

Tarn helm/grim with life and res
+2zon ammy with res and anything else
Twitch
Superior throwing spear
Sig shield/amazing grim shield
Sig gloves/gloves with 20ias and res
Belt with fhr/stats/life/res or goldwrap
Soj

Amazing tri res boots

Iirc you need 60ias with throwing spear

And no clue on the ideal classic bowzon but ppl want gothic/rune bow with Ed/ar/ias at minimum
