is it better to still go infinity, or is it better to use duble plague act 3 mercenary?

Conviction does not reduce poison resistance.

that's why i'd like to try the duble plague merc xD

The "-23% To Enemy Poison Resistance" will not help your necromancer's damage if it is equipped by the mercenary.
And since you are using the necromancer, you should naturally unlock lower resistance, so I don't see much of a point having it.

Infinity Merc to boost fire damage from CE.
Use Lower resist, nova, amp, ce... repeat
Infinity/treach/Andy's will help cb vs bosses too

inf + hustle + gface better?

No life leach or DR so probably not
