is blizz the best for like chaos/pits??

or should i do a nova or lighting sorc for mfing those. right now im blizz with fathom/nightiwngs and and infin merc and i feel like i kill slow.

i only want to run about 250 mf so should i switch over to lighting?

Lightning and Nova are faster with gear. sounds like you have gear.

i do have gearlol i have a nova sorc already but shes pure dmg. i think im just bored of d2r lol and dont want to play any char i make. so i keep making new

Light Sorc, regardless whether it's 105 FCR Nova or 117 FCR Lightning.

Also, you shouldn't care too much about MF anyway. Killspeed has always won and will always win, even when it comes to farming for items. Killspeed >> MF value.

Gheed's, Chanceguards, Skullder's, in some cases Oculus; you don't really need to go further down the MF route when it means crippling your damage via lack of +Skills or lack of -Enemy Resistance.

They meant enigma, war Travis, and gheeds** is all you need. If you need to use vmagi for fcr bp, go ptopaz or ist. Also, mf scs. Chances are debatable of you can give up fcr, but mages QoL is pretty good.

Also, what player count? Nova and lite will struggle on P8. Lite use cmoon if high player count. I prefer your current setup (blizz high damage) for chaos. Blizz sorc is meant for tunnels in A2, not pits. Farm there and CS on blizz

i normally do 3 player count. if i want to do p8 chaos runs what char is best? javazon?? or hammerdin??

Unpopular opinion:

Ligth Sorcs, while shining a little more in lower player counts, can still be quick enough in P8. I did CS runs with my Light Sorc during Baal Runs for levelling purposes back when TZ weren't a thing. It was perfectly doable, especially after gearing up and using Infinity on the Merc.

BUT while doing so I didn't actually go for much of MF; the Sorc was spec'ced and decked out for max damage.

p7/8 chaos runs are a blast when fully geared on a hdin. I only enjoy hammers in chaos, and I think they're best, even after sunders.
I play HC only, but most holds true, I do 13-14khammers, over cap fire res for convicted infector using rising sun. After last seal, go to a1 cold plains-marsh wps and check for exp shrine something like 1/6 chance to exp shrine

Lite sorc requires cmoon, but still a lot of targeted shooting, and squishy.
Jav has bad fcr frames, but with high end gear can clear fast (maybe second best)
How/berserk/conc barb can run seals only at high levels, but that is if exp is main goal, otherwise chaos is fun for the mobs/drops from them
Cold sorc is middle ground. With sunder now, de seis is less problem. I'd still go infinity Merc for cb/damage/aura and find mana elsewhere. You need to go max DPS, so again going to be squishy, but of you want kill speed even at higher players count.

There's another site where they do 99 walls on SP and some folks have really min/max these concepts

For actual full clears, Hammerdin or Java can be quite good and especially safe. Mosaic builds on assassin will do the same.

Light Sorcs can do it pretty easy as well, but might lack killspeed at times for full clears. Then again, Light Sorc is by FAR the fastest pure Seal+Dia runner (or seal popper) in the game thanks to Teleport frames, Static, Telekinesis and high damage.

im pretty noob, but i switched from blizz to nova, and much faster runs.,mf is lower but i dont belive in mf lol. much lower mf but my drops are much better(i know its rng)
