Upgraded these. I wanna make sure they replenish from the first toss, so here's what I'm thinking...

1. equip as much +ds and crit as possible (guil, highlords, gores, lance guard, peace armor)
2. equip as much +skill as i can (mastery gcs, etc)
3. gather a ton of cows in normal mode and toss a single throw at the pack


Is there a safer/100% safe way anyone knows of? Thanks I've tried swapping weapons mid throw/etc but nothing like that seems to want to work


edit: better to go for 100% pierce chance for the first (hopefully not last) throw? wisdom helm?

I'm actually trying to get one of mine done by my buddy throw barb. He said it's surely repable with 1 qty

Can you find out his method? I wanna be as certain as I can be, just playing it safe

Makes sense that it's generated on missile creation. I assume that would mean it makes no difference if I toss it at a cow or whether the thing pierces anything. Still interested in seeing what Kim's friend has in mind! And ofcourse, when I take the plunge and toss the thing I'll post results lol

It took me 25 throws before I lost a single one, so there was definitely still a risk this way. All safe now though!

I have no idea what this is about. Why would you not lose a quantity just from having high spear mastery?

In an attempt to make throw barbs more viable Throw mastery gives replenish quantity in d2r now, so ppl don’t need rep to get for a nice throwing wep
