So the mosaic sin seems to have a few build variations. I've only tested 1 so far and it's pretty brutal. but it has risen to a few questions around it


1. fists of fire - to max or not to max. that fire conversion interaction makes cobra strike useless to even try and use if you want fof. and if you don't use p1 for meteor often due to potential latency issues around too many meteors. are the hard points worth it to amp the fire damage and use it over cobra?

2. fade vs burst of speed - the traditional question. i've seen both sides of this. fade + sunder charms, fade without sunder charms and mf gear, burst of speed and no sunder etc.

3. fcr breakpoints. is it really that big of a deal to hit the 65fcr breakpoint for normal play? I won't use it for ubers as it's not necessecary there. but outside ubers how needed is it?

4. which charge of fists of thunder should be used? i'm guessing 3? for blades of ice ik you get all 3 charges



what item setup would you use for say an mf build? 42 or 65 fcr breakpoint. 42 seems more obtainable.

I'm thinking

thinking ptopaz shako, ravenfrost, 10fcr ring, 12+ fcr ammulet. - 259.
enigma - 85
shako - 74+
travs - 40+
chances - 30+
gheeds - 30+

dropping the chancies for trangs and a 15fcr amulet would hit the 65 pretty comfortably. at a cost of 30mf. or trangs gloves and a mara's if you need more survival maybe?

1. On lower gear I used cobra strike and tiger strike and didnt charge FoF at all. Now that I have good gear I don't find myself needing the leech so I maxed FoF. The damage boost is pretty massive.

2. Fade is a must for me as my current gear doesn't provide enough resistances. Since I'm teleporting burst doesn't really do that much.

3. I guess 65 fcr isnt a must but definitely feels nicer when teleporting around TZs. Nothing is more annoying than having charges drop cos I cant get to monsters fast enough. It also pretty easy to reach with Griffon, arach and trangs.

4. I charge 2 PS, and 3 on FoF, CoT, BoI. At current gear it gets me around 36k kick dmg.

at present i've just been using 3 CoT/BoI/cobra strike. and 2 ps. I still murder literally everything under the sun. and i'm immortal with cobra

I think i'll favor sticking mostly with cobra. since they all die no matter what. my kicks still do 26k and I don't have any MA charms, or +skills ammy. in the few zones where I don't instakill everything is when i want the leech even more :(.

That's pretty much what I did before. Great thing about mosaic is you can adjust charges to whatever you prefer. Everything melts on p1-p3 and maximizing damage isnt necessary.
