Cold damage Reaper's can eat my shit, and while CoT is good, it's possible to find a substitute that'll do more for you. GFace is better even if you have LL elsewhere, since you're looking for clearspeed over gold/run.

D2 legacy had absurd timers due to Realm Down. Not the case anymore.

true words i tried many different builds but this build here is just really hard to beat when it comes to clear speed...

and for travi gf runs the timer is ur best friend

just have to try soon lamprey circlet with 2x dtd/ias jewels chamed and flickering flame against andy face.

sure, ias bps help proc everything a teeny tiny bit faster. none of this will outscale 300% ed.

Room temperature IQ reasoning. Trading off 200-300ed for an IAS breakpoint.

Council members pop in a second or 2 each, extra ias translates into ed
Also treachery has 50% gf not to mention all the other useful stats

I can't even believe I'm arguing with someone unironically saying Reaper's Toll is optimal for Trav.
It's one thing to say "I prefer Reaper's Toll because I don't have to cast Amp Damage & repair while I'm watching hentai on the second monitor", and it's another to pretend it's optimal.
Non-Super Unique council members on p1 have a high nodrop chance, and Find Item yields most of your returns from them. No idea why you'd want to risk shattering them (and it happens pretty consistently).

Farming on p3-p7 just makes Reaper's Toll/Treachery worse, with the higher DPS demands and the fact that Decrep only doubles instead of triple your damage.
At this point I just have to assume you've got this thread bookmarked to drop bait once in a while to see if I'm stupid enough to take you seriously

I tried a few of the top builds here for fun and settled on:

260ed/45ias eth ariocs / eth sup. AP CoH / Eth 30/10 Andys with 38demon ed/15ias/38demon AR jewel for merc

hoto/demon limb for swap

Merc never dies, even vs. conviction unless there's some super nasty combo and I'm being lazy, maybe 1 in 300-500 runs or something. I did eth ebotd war pike + eth forti combo first and I think clear speeds were basically the same, but merc was a little more susceptible, especially to conviction spawns.

I did gavel swap for a long time then tested vs. the above, and with my loading screens that vary ~1-4 seconds, I found my average clear times to be only a few seconds faster on average with gavel + repairing, and that it's really only worth it (for me) if I'm focused + want to put in the extra mental effort. and that's not why I have a GF barb personally.
